棉布矿物胶彩占巴南喀大师为西藏雍仲苯教最为重要的密教祖师之一，相传其为文殊菩萨的化身，具有大智慧，通达21种语言，被苯教信众尊为﹃苯教密宗第二佛陀﹄。在唐卡正中，大师头挽高发髻，顶置牟尼宝，佩戴五叶冠饰。面庞长圆，双目直视前方，表情肃穆且威严。上身躯体劲健有力，双肩帔帛绕臂而下，双手轻拈花茎，两侧肩花上有雍仲符，为其形象标志。下身穿虎皮裙，舒坐于莲花座上。怀中抱有明妃，身呈红色，手举宝瓶，围坐在主尊腰间。画面上方正中为普贤王如来，主尊身侧有雍仲苯教历代传承祖师及重要护法环绕，画面下方描绘了苯教重要护法及安多地区重要护法。整幅唐卡构图繁密，色泽艳丽，人物描绘带有民间浪漫色彩，是一幅晚期安多苯教唐卡的精品之作。
