蒙古铜鎏金据佛教典籍记载，宝为宝贵之意，生为宝贵之源，因此凡虔诚敬信宝生佛之人，都能实现求法所愿。此尊头饰螺发，面相方正，额头宽平，五官俊秀，面带微笑。身躯劲健，肌肉饱满，四肢粗壮有力。上身着袒右肩袈裟，左手结禅定印，右手结与愿印。下穿宽松僧裙，双腿结跏趺端坐，下承仰覆莲高座。整像造型与哲布尊丹巴创立的喀尔喀蒙古风格有着极大关系，但与衣纹和台座后錾刻的繁密花纹，又明显受到漠南蒙古注重装饰的影响，展现了蒙古地区独有的民族审美情趣。
