宫廷铜鎏金财神是藏传佛教最为重要的护法神灵体系之一，因其能令佛教信众财利丰足，不被贫困所扰，而倍受广大佛教僧俗崇奉，此尊就表现了藏传佛教众多财神中最为世人熟知的黄财神法相。此尊束高发髻，头戴五叶冠饰，冠叶呈现菩提叶片形状，极为生动写实。面庞丰肥圆润，浓眉紧蹙，双目圆睁，鼻大嘴阔，龇牙卷舌，呈现忿怒护法形象。上身躯体健硕，四肢粗壮，佩戴钏镯等饰物，络腋于腹前打结，现实意趣浓郁。左手捧吐宝鼠，右手持牟尼宝（已失），为黄财神的典型标志。下身着宽松裳裙，双腿游戏坐于锦垫之上。锦垫錾刻繁密几何纹饰和卷草纹饰，装饰华美。整像造型工整，金色亮丽，人物表现和配饰形制有着18世纪藏传造像的典型艺术特征，更兼宗教寓意吉祥，是一尊极为难得的清代藏传造像佳作。
