内地唐代风格铜鎏金佛教自汉代传入中国后，其造像艺术历经十六国、南北朝、隋代的积累和沉淀，终于在唐朝进入了汉传佛教造像的黄金时代。唐代造像以气势雄浑、丰腴肥美著称于世，这与当时的政治、经济、文化都达到中国封建社会的一个高峰有着直接关系，深刻地反映出万邦来朝的大国恢弘气度。此尊造像挽唐代贵妇所束高发髻，束发飘带自然垂于耳后。面庞丰圆，眉似弯月，双目低垂，表情安详恬淡。头后有桃形镂空背光，华丽精美，为此一时期的典型艺术特色。上身躯体饱满，胸前佩戴项链，左手持杨柳枝，右手握有净瓶，帔帛自两肩婉转而下，曲折流畅，生动写实。下身着长裙，以立姿站立于涌莲之上，下承四方台座。整像镀金亮丽，风格鲜明，工艺精湛，外在造型带有大唐的盛世气韵，堪称汉传佛教的造像典范。
