内地铜漆金观世音菩萨，亦称﹃观自在菩萨﹄，为佛教八大菩萨之一。她以大悲大慈的救度之力著称于世。据说，逢难者只要念诵其名号，观音菩萨就会及时出现，救度其苦难，因此被世人广为礼赞和崇敬。观音头束高髻，戴枝蔓缠绕的花冠，正中安置化佛，标志观音菩萨属于莲花部的主尊。面庞长圆丰肥，眉眼秀美，鼻梁高挺，双唇微抿，带有慈悲微笑，展现出观音对众生的关爱。躯体肌肉平顺，胸前佩戴璎珞，垂领服饰衣褶婉转自然，贴近实际生活。左手捧法器于腹前，右手结说法印，双腿结跏趺坐姿。所着长裙宽松飘逸，衬托出中国传统女性的柔美。整像铜质莹润，局部仍能见到早期漆金的痕迹，为内地造像的独特手法，头部硕大、躯体丰臃也是明代晚期佛教造像的艺术特色，堪称明代晚期菩萨造像的典范。
