宫廷铜鎏金原封底文殊菩萨是藏传佛教中智慧的化身，为藏传佛教最为重要的智慧本尊之一，历代封建王朝的统治者皆被视为文殊菩萨在世间的化现。此尊头挽华丽高发髻，佩戴五叶冠饰，冠饰造型别致，繁复精美。面相长圆，眉目清秀，表情肃穆。上身躯体袒露，佩戴各种配饰，络腋自左肩斜披于右肋下，帔帛自肩上顺滑而下。左手于胸前结印，左肩饰有经书，右手高举宝剑。下身着宽松长裙，双腿跏趺坐于莲花座上。整像金色亮丽，造型端庄，人物生动，刻画细腻，是一尊非常精美的藏传造像佳作。
