Frame from silk brocade and lacquered wood with bronze fittings. Golden clouds reveal a view on scenes from the famous novel about the Prince Genji. The elegant gentleman is recognizable by his light blue Nôshi robe and shown in the palace, on journeys and in company of beautiful ladies. Six-part. Picture size 224 x 108cm.
