这尊造像主要表现了观音菩萨救度众生的慈悲法相。此尊束高发髻，顶置牟尼宝珠。头戴五叶冠饰，叶片高耸，装饰华美。面相丰满，双眉平直，两目低垂，鼻梁挺直，嘴唇小巧，展现出菩萨如同中国传统贵妇般的慈祥面容。上身比例匀称，佩戴各种钏镯饰物，胸前璎珞层层相扣，富有装饰效果。左手平举胸前，右手轻抬，两肩莲花上置有军持宝瓶和祥禽，为汉传佛教观音菩萨的标准法器。下身着飘逸长裙，双腿结跏趺坐于莲花座上。莲座莲瓣宽大饱满，造型繁复华丽，越加衬托出菩萨的高贵与圣洁。整像不论从造型样式，还是工艺特点，都符合汉地明代造像的艺术特色，其艺术特征继承自永宣宫廷造像，在汉地传统艺术的基础上又融入了藏传造像的艺术表现，反映出明代汉地造像的独特艺术审美。
