觚为商周酒器，也是重要的礼器之一。此种明代仿商青铜器，俊雅窈窕的花觚，以圆者多，而方者少。
本品正方四方形，器分三段，广口外撇，自上而下敛收，腹部长方，高足外撇，通身四棱出戟。通身纹饰均以细腻的云雷纹作底，腹部、足部饰兽面纹，颈部饰蕉叶纹。此类摹古又融合以时代特征之物颇受文人雅士钟爱，诚为一时之精品，置于案头、增添古意，古雅之至。
