菩萨头戴枝蔓缠绕的宝冠高高耸起，中央释迦牟尼化佛，为观音菩萨的重要标志。双目含苞，弯眉似新月，鼻梁挺拔，鼻头精巧，嘴角含笑，面容温婉静谧，法相庄严。菩萨上身袒露，披挂华美的璎珞，帛带缠绕周身，下身着长裙，与当时汉地佛造像常见装束相符，衣纹刻画生动，自然流畅，衣缘錾刻深峻有力的缠枝花。跣足全跏趺端坐，双手当胸各牵引一株莲茎并盛开于双肩。通体皮壳厚重，是为岁月之痕迹，更显古朴端庄之美。
