具哲善金刚简称“善金刚”，藏语中称之为“唐坚噶瓦那波”，汉语可称为“守哲黑铁匠神”，因其形象多以骑羊或骑狮出现，故俗称“骑羊护法”。
此像不似常见的黑铁匠的形象，其面容沉静，作慈和的老者样貌，左手身前托三棱宝塔，右手肋前施印。身着短袍，披帛流畅自如。护法胯骑于山羊背上，山羊双角俏立，身躯肥硕，四肢半跪，构思新颖别致。将宗教的深厚内含和造型艺术的形象表达完美的结合在一起。
