STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC JUG / PITCHER, featuring "WASHIN[G]TONS, SEAT", as printed to banner at top, depicting Mount Vernon in upper right, a tall-masted ship on left, and a gentleman on horseback with two people in foreground. Unmarked. Circa 1825. 6 1/4" HOA. Excellent visual condition, having some professional restoration to rim and spout, and very light hairline to base.
