STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC JUG / PITCHER, featuring the Capitol, Washington, depicting a triple-dome building with two couples in front, with bold floral border. Unmarked. Possibly Ralph Stevenson, Cobridge, England, imported by Tams, Anderson & Tams, Philadelphia, PA. Circa 1825. 9 5/8" HOA. Excellent visual condition, having professional restoration to rim chips and an approximately 4" hairline to body, primarily visible to interior only.
