STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC RETICULATED BASKET AND UNDERTRAY, comprising a basket with molded branch handles featuring the Military Academy, West Point to interior, depicting two fisherman in foreground with the academy on a cliff above the Hudson River, and an undertray with Highlands, Hudson River scene featuring the Chancellor Livingston steamboat in foreground and rising mountains in background, each with shell border. Basket having impressed "A" and printed "8", and stand with possible printed "7" to underside, otherwise unmarked. Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem, England. 1818-1846. 9 3/4" x 7 3/4" D rim. Basket undamaged; tray with rim hairline, primarily visible to underside only due to decoration on front.
