OHIO DECORATED STONEWARE CROCK, salt-glazed, designated two-gallon capacity, cylindrical form with flat-top rounded rim and two incised shoulder rings, Albany-slip glazed interior. Slip-trailed cobalt fishing lure decoration with "2" above. Attributed to the William Rowley Pottery, Middlebury, OH. Circa 1875. 9" H, 9 1/4" D rim. Undamaged, except for some minor glaze exfoliation to interior bottom. Provenance: From the collection of Nick Routson, Phoenix, AZ.
