MID-ATLANTIC FEDERAL INLAID CHERRY DIMINUTIVE CORNER CUPBOARD, in two parts, upper step-back section featuring a broken-arch pediment above a single, geometrically-glazed, lip-molded, arched door with original glass, flanked by reeded pilasters, interior with three fixed shelves having double plate grooves and old off-white paint, lower section with two fielded-panel doors above a band of light-wood inlay, the whole raised on cut-out modified French feet. Pine secondary wood. Original finials, plinths, and brass hardware. Original dry surface with outstanding patina. Minimally invasive, invisible LED lighting added to interior. Probably Pennsylvania or New Jersey. First quarter 19th century. 92 1/2" H, 42" W, 25 1/4" corner. Excellent condition, the feet were shortened but the original pieces were retained and have been professionally restored, repairs to several breaks to pediment, some shrinkage cracks to upper case flanking door.
