NEW ENGLAND PINE AND MAPLE TAVERN / WORK TABLE, rectangular two-board top with breadboard ends and generous overhang, attached with four wooden pens to the skirt having molded lower edges, raised on delicate turned legs terminating in button feet. Old refinished surface with warm color. Fourth quarter 18th century. 27 1/4" H, 29 1/4" x 45" top. Very good condition, loss to one foot, two short cracks to top, areas of expected usage stains/wear. Provenance: From the collection of Nick Routson, Phoenix, AZ.Susie & Richie Burmann, Ohio/New Hampshire.
