NEW ENGLAND QUEEN ANNE TIGER MAPLE FALL-LEAF DINING TABLE, rectangular, single-board top with slightly rounded ends, fitted with two hinged demi-lune leaves, above an apron with shaped ends, all raised on four cabriole legs terminating in pad feet, two of which swivel to support the leaves. Original iron hinges. Excellent old mellow surface. Together with three custom-made felt pads that slightly overhang the top surface allowing for eight chairs to fit comfortably. Circa 1760. 27 1/4" H, 41 1/4" x 16" top (closed), 51" top (open). Excellent original condition, top with scattered minor filled nail holes and several small areas of staining.
