斯炉之造型由商周时期青铜“斝”化裁而来，又融入鬲炉之造型特征，故而显得挺拔饱满，趣味十足。平口方唇，口沿对饰索耳，短直径，丰肩，腹部扁鼓，分档似袋，下有三柱足。足底铸刻“大明宣德年制”六字三行楷书款，款字精巧，以适灵秀的炉身。包浆厚古，皮壳为栗壳色，黄润韵泽，精光内敛，远观亘古苍茫，近抚妆如凝脂，余韵不绝。
