椭圆形炉，形体精巧端庄，器壁厚实，入手沉甸，器表均净，显锃亮铜色。唇口外撇，束颈，溜肩弧腹，底承圈足。肩两侧对饰铺首衔环耳，腹部前后各雕螭龙纹，双龙高浮于面，所雕龙纹独角后仰，广额突目，隆鼻宽吻，口衔灵芝，身姿细长矫健，花尾翻卷，气势逼人，富具立体感，寓意吉祥。此炉最为特殊之处在于明清铜炉多以简素为主，类本品以类似竹木牙角雕刻之高浮雕技法装饰纹饰者，并不多见，且此件铜炉工艺上乘，铸造考究，雕刻手法老练，皮色均净亮泽，若炉内燃香，不消几时，香气满沐殿堂，观烟丝袅袅升起，亦真亦幻，有如仙境，不失为一件书斋文玩之佳品。旧配木质镂雕花卉纹盖及器座。
