说明
爵是最早出现的青铜酒器，其定名并不是青铜器上的自铭，而是通过文献的考证而确定的。《说文•鬯部》有云:「爵，礼器也，象爵之形，中有鬯酒。又，持之也，所以饮。器象爵者，取其鸣节节足足也。」雀鸣喈喈，谐音节节，故又认为爵通雀，金文中爵字即为象形字。此青铜爵前有流，后有尾，足修而锐若雀之爪，两柱耳。整体器型呈现商代晚期青铜爵之特征：流壁加深，宽槽，卵形底，双柱靠后移，鋬上以兽首做装饰；其上纹饰皆以线刻云雷纹为地，其中颈部饰蕉叶纹，器腹主干纹饰以两对称扉棱为界，上饰饕餮纹，阔口凸目，狰狞中威严之气尽现。今人观此爵，遥想殷商先人祭祀之严慎，肃穆之心顿生。参阅：中国国家博物馆藏，商晚期 兽面纹爵来源：台湾藏家旧藏
