拍品小杯侈口，深腹，圈足外撇，呈仰钟式，器型小巧俊秀，胎体轻盈坚致，口沿饰金彩一周，内壁施松石绿釉，外壁白釉为底，以粉彩绘麻古献寿图，画笔生动细腻，设色艳丽无匹。所绘仙女体态修长，面目姣美，身着长裙，手扶木浆，立于龙形木舟之上，其神情、衣褶刻画细致入微，周围间以红蝠数只，画面整体结构紧凑，并在描绘人物之外留有一定空白，以显示出画面的深远和层次感，可谓精妙之极。整体主题鲜明，寓意至为吉祥。麻姑献寿为传统的祝寿题材，麻姑乃女寿佬，传说中麻姑曾“见东海三为桑田“，可见其寿岁之长。农历三月三日为王母寿辰，举行蟠桃盛会，麻姑特在绛珠河畔用灵芝酿酒，献给王母作贺礼，谓之“麻姑献寿”。
