清代雍正帝笃信佛教，品位文雅，故此时忍冬纹多见於清宫日常生活用具之中。此种纹饰最早出现于魏晋南北朝时期，随佛教传入中国，后被瓷器沿用为纹饰，常以枝蔓的形式连续出现，或可象征类似于佛教的“轮回永生”。拍品最早见于明成化朝，其杯体轻巧，瓷质莹洁，令人爱不释手。通体施高温透明釉，外壁以青花为饰，绘忍冬纹六组并以缠枝灵芝纹间隔，笔触圆润流畅，布局舒朗有致，青花发色明快，呈色自然稳定，整器清逸典雅，隽永俊秀，与清雍正皇帝的艺术追求不谋而合。
