郭克礼（Quek Kiok Lee，1920-2018），新加坡著名收藏家、东南亚陶瓷学会创始人之一，1994年被新加坡国立大学校长邀任大学博物馆入藏中国艺术馆藏的学术顾问。
此拍品一组三件，取材紫檀，作小杯状，唇口外侈，口沿饰弦纹两周，一侧设竹节柄，构思精巧，腹部缓收，底承矮圈足。
整器为整料掏薄不惜成本雕刻而成，紫檀木色沈郁凝厚，呈现端庄素雅之貌，竹节耳雕刻行云流水，流畅自然，工艺精美。
紫檀木是世界上最为珍贵的木材之一，清代对紫檀木的使用尤其多，特别是乾隆皇帝在位六十年间，国力强盛，大兴土木，更使紫檀木显得愈发珍贵，一木难求。紫檀生长非常缓慢，素有“百年寸檀，十檀九空”的说法。其致密坚重，耐久耐腐，色调深沉静穆。
