此物乃是西藏地区寺院佛殿的礼佛器具，佛前供瓶相较于酥油灯、净水碗等传世较为少见。
其次此供瓶工艺特殊在瓶身花纹十分精美细致，莲瓣纹、璎络纹、卷草纹布局井然有序，佛意悠悠。
整体造型别致，曲线玲珑繁复，线条起伏转折处尽显技艺之高超，观之古拙华贵之气扑面而来，全器造型端严，应为西藏高阶宗教领袖或大寺庙佛堂供器。
同时此宝瓶可置于佛前供养，也可放于书房客厅，陈设供奉皆可，是一件难得宗教艺术珍品。
