具哲善金刚简称“善金刚”，藏语中称之为“唐坚噶瓦那波”，汉语可称为“守哲黑铁匠神”，因其形象多以骑羊或骑狮出现，故俗称“骑羊护法”。
此像是其常见的忿怒形象，头戴五骷髅冠，三目圆睁，双眉上竖，阔口大张，须髯密布。双手于身前上下结印，身体浑实有力，姿态威武生动。以威震三界的身姿侧坐于在山羊背上，山羊神采奕奕，作缓行状。整尊造像构思新颖别致，将宗教的深厚内含和造型艺术的形象表达完美的结合在一起，彰显出护法神威猛强悍的威仪。
