交杌俗称“马扎”，是腿足相交的杌凳。可以折叠，在携带、存放上都比较方便，所以千百年来广泛被人使用。尤其是小型的交杌，更是居家常备。
此杌凳，用八根直材构成，中间轴钉穿铆，杌面麻绳编织，结构简约，古朴大方。小交杌一般用柴木制成，少见用银杏木制者。此交杌即采用银杏木材质，其形制和美国波士顿美术馆藏《北齐校书图》中所画的极为相似，可见千百年来，交杌一直保持着它的基本形式。
