黑财神是藏传佛教崇拜的五姓财神之一。为了利益众生脱离穷困而化现，驱除恶运纠缠，保障一切善愿成就圆满无碍。此尊黑财神双目圆瞠，面庞方圆，忿怒威猛，具有威慑力。身材粗壮，展左站立，肚子圆鼓凸起。左手捏住吐宝鼠头部，从背面看，可见吐宝鼠身材之肥硕，身子垂于主尊腿后，口吐珠宝。右手持嘎巴拉碗。足下踏尸体，象征降服之意。莲座为双层仰覆莲座，莲瓣整齐排列，造型规整。通体黄铜铸造，铜质厚重，铜色细腻古朴，十三世纪之古朴风味浓厚。造型粗犷，彰显其勇猛。
