“五方佛”，又称“五智佛”、“五方如来”、“五智如来”，源自密宗金刚界思想，东南西北中五方，各有一佛主持。分别是中央的毗卢遮那佛（大日如来）、东方阿閦佛（不动如来）、西方阿弥陀佛、南方宝生佛、北方不空成就佛。 此尊造像表现的是五方佛之中主北方的不空成就佛，头戴宝冠，冠叶高耸，发髻上佩戴饰物，冠结上饰花朵，古朴中蕴含着华美的气质。面容慈祥沉静，双眉与鼻胫相连，双目弧线优美，嘴角上扬，略带笑意。造像全跏趺坐，左手结禅定印于腹部，右手施无畏印，此印象征不空成就佛能使三界生死怖畏众生，皆能到达无畏之处。着天衣绸裙，衣纹简练，胸、手、臂、踝等处装饰璎珞钏环。此像合金铜质地精良，包浆色泽沉郁，是藏西造像中一件难得的精品。
