PAIR OF TURKISH BOWLSMeissen, model ca. 1756-57. Molding ca. 1763-65.With polychrome enamel decoration, accentuated in gold, inscribed with text in Arabic and date. "Hijra 1170 = 1756/57”. The inside decorated with a bouquet of flowers. Underglaze blue sword mark with dot, N0. = in iron red. One of the bowls with a press number and an incised mark H.H 3.9 cm, Ø 6.5 cm.Trade relations between the Levant and Europe experienced a renaissance in the 18th century. Ritzzeichen H.H 3,9 cm, Ø 6,5 cm.Die Handelsbeziehungen zwischen der Levante und Europa erfuhren im 18. Jh eine Renaissance.
