Probably influenced by Leonardo da Vinci's monumental horse sculptures, numerous sculptors and bronzers - F. Fanella, P. Tacca or B. Prieur - took up this theme. The bronze on offer shows great similarities with the most famous version by Giambologna, cast by A. Susini ca. 1600, the so-called "cavallino, che sta in su due piedi". Jahrhunderts. Wohl beeinflusst von Leonardo da Vincis monumentalen Pferdeskulpturen, fanden sich zahlreiche Bildhauer und Bronziers - F. Fanella, P. Tacca oder B. Prieur - die sich dieses Themas annahmen. Die hier angebotene Bronze weist grosse Ähnlichkeiten mit der berühmtesten Ausführung von Giambologna, gegossen von A.
