尼泊爾藝術是西藏佛教藝術的重要來源之一，尤其是14世紀之後，西藏周邊地域的佛教藝術逐漸消亡，僅余尼泊爾一地尚存。使得其後的西藏佛教藝術都帶有或多或少的尼泊爾藝術風韻，此尊造像就帶有許多尼泊爾藝術特點。寶生佛頭飾螺髮，額部高廣，眉目清秀，表情肅穆。上身軀體壯碩，四肢粗壯，着袒右肩袈裟，袈裟緊貼肌體，身軀的起伏變化透過服飾一覽無余。左手結禪定印，右手結與願印，為寶生佛典型法印。下身著僧裙，雙腿結跏趺坐。下承方形多角台座，台座正面飾有雙獅和單杵。整像工藝精湛，胎體厚重，風格鮮明，特徵突出，尤其是座前雙獅為白銀質地，頗富裝飾意趣，是一尊藝術收藏和宗教禮拜兼有的藝術佳作。
