此尊释迦牟尼佛像顶饰螺发，肉髻圆隆，宝珠顶严饰有松石，富贵而庄严。面庞圆润，眼睑微垂，鼻梁高挺，表情肃穆。躯体肩胸宽厚，腰部收敛，肌肉质感十足富有力量感。身着袒右肩袈裟，衣质轻薄贴体，展现出袈裟下躯体的优美身姿和内蕴张力。左手于脐前结禅定印，右手抚膝施触地印。双腿跏趺端坐，下承莲花宝座。莲座上下缘各饰一圈连珠，双层莲瓣挺拔饱满。整像色泽雅致，材质优良，造型生动，刻画细腻，表现出早期卫藏地区造像的艺术风采。加之品相完好，更添其收藏价值。
