黄财神是藏传佛教中人们最为喜爱的题材，各个时期藏传佛教信徒制作了大量的黄财神造像，此尊黄财神像就是15-16世纪卫藏地区造像的代表之作。此尊发髻高束，头戴华丽五叶冠饰。面庞丰腴，双眉紧蹙，怒目圆睁，现忿怒护法形象。躯体矮胖粗壮，左手捧吐宝鼠，右手握牟尼宝。下身着飘逸宽松长裤，双腿呈游戏坐姿，下承仰覆莲座。整像镀金亮丽，做工规整，其精准的量度和细腻的刻画，展现出15-16世纪卫藏地区造像的艺术风格特点，极具代表性。
