明末清初，鼻煙傳入中國，為便於盛放攜帶，鼻煙壺應運而生。沈豫《秋陰雜記》有雲：“鼻煙壺起於本朝，其始止行八旗並士大夫。近日販夫牧豎，無不握此。壺則水晶羊脂瑪瑙翡翠茄瓢瓷石等質，而蓋則珊瑚珍珠貓眼，無不鏤奇錯釆。”鼻煙壺材質豐富，此件鼻煙壺為民國年間以玳瑁製成，紋理斑駁自然，色澤寶光流溢，觀之令人精神一爽，作長方形，形制端方，打磨光潔，小巧精緻，表面有“張伯駒”及“倦遊閣”款，並銘唐人孟浩然詩句曰：“會理知無我，觀空厭有形。迷心應覺悟，客思未遑寧”以及“江路經廬阜 , 松門入虎溪。一燈如悟道 , 為照客心迷”，頓顯雅緻。 题识：张伯驹清玩，倦游阁藏。 附：红木天地盖砚盒、桐木供箱红木天地盖砚盒、桐木供箱。 尺寸：7.2×3×3cm
