|朱泥为胎，选泥甚精，火候极致，光彩照人。取树桩为壶身，全器贴饰松鼠葡萄纹，竹叶纹，钮作梅花鹿屈足昂首状，生动传神。以梅干为壶嘴，一则依附竹枝，取其梅竹双清之意。以葡萄藤为壶把，由下向上延出葡萄枝叶，数只松鼠跳跃其间，活泼灵动，此起彼落，与壶盖梅花鹿相呼应。全器布局讲究，气韵生动，生机盎然，实为精工巧作。|参阅：《古壶之美-卷四》，p30
