在中国的佛教造像艺术发展史上，明代宫廷制作的金铜佛像尤为引人注目，其中以永乐和宣德两朝的造像为明代宫廷的造像典范。此尊具高肉髻，头饰螺发。面相方正，双目低垂，眼泡略鼓，高鼻小口，嘴边上翘，透露出佛尊悲天悯人的情怀 ；上身着袒右肩式袈裟，袈裟衣褶层层相叠，写实意味浓郁。左手结禅定印于腹前，右手结触地印，为佛祖证道时的标准形象。下身着长裙，衣纹表现立体，分布对称，全跏趺坐在双层束腰型莲花座上。莲座正面前台上自左向右阴刻楷书“大明宣德年施”。整像胎体厚重，镀金亮丽，品相完好 ；造像规整，身材比例匀称，体态端庄，体现了汉藏风格的特色，具有明显宫廷造像特征，是不可多得的精彩造像。来源：瑞士Baur-Kracht家族旧藏，自1930年购于俄罗斯，家族收藏至2014年后转售给中国古董商。
