本品器形源自商周青铜器，形体方正，端庄典雅，宫廷气息盎然。喇叭口，长颈敛收，折肩，扁方腹，高足外撇。器身四棱处戟，底承假圈足。内壁及底施白釉，以画珐琅工艺装饰。颈部饰蕉叶纹及瑞鸟纹，腹部饰兽面纹，上下连续回纹各一周，高圈足以兽面纹及瑞鸟纹为饰，底部折枝牡丹。
此画珐琅器乃乾隆朝炉火纯青地掌握此技术的完美体现，更为难得之处在于本品成对收藏，富丽典雅，陈设效果极佳，尽显皇家气派。
