玉色青綠，通體覆有的黃土色斑。器作長條形，橫斷面呈方形，其柄端上部多斂收成一短榫頭狀（一稱為「枘」），枘上得見對鑽小孔，可穿繩懸掛，柄部下方則尖細如錐。 柄部琢刻四節兩組的簡化神徽，將枘朝下，第一、三節為神人面紋，上飾平行細線象徵神人頭戴之羽冠；第二、四節為獸面紋，以單圈為眼，得見橢圓形眼瞼，細部裝飾繁縟紋樣，與其上神人紋構成神人乘獸之圖樣。類此玉錐形器目前以良渚文化最為常見，其他如山東的史前遺址也有少量發現。相仿之物，可參考國立故宮博物院良渚文化晚期錐形器。
