除中國東、南海外，印度洋城市也是花膠盛產之地，其中屬印度和巴基斯坦出產的花膠排名一二。此拍品就產自巴基斯坦。花膠有公母之分，花膠公營養價值及口感優於花膠母，而鰲魚公魚鰾曬成的花膠屬頂級貨。公肚形如馬鞍，肚身中部較厚，身呈V字條紋,以質地結實、厚身、乾淡，呈半透明狀為上品。 此拍品為鰲魚公肚，收藏近15年，陳化足久，保存得宜，質素佳。
