此件明代朱漆雕填云龙赶珠纹捧盒，平顶，弧壁，盖身以唇边子母口相合，底承圈足。盒内及底髹黑漆，余面髹朱漆。盖面朱地上雕填彩漆，边缘以黑漆回字纹一周相衬，内设卍字锦纹作地，如意卷云之间，五条苍龙凌空腾飞，五爪伸探，双目炯炯，发须飞扬，似在戏耍中央火焰宝珠，气势磅礴，极为震撼。器壁上下三面海棠形开光，内绘双龙戏珠纹，间隔处饰缠枝莲纹，口沿唇边及圈足亦有纹饰点缀。
整器造型饱满大方，规格较硕，纹饰主次分明，雕刻干净整洁，刀法娴熟，具有极高的收藏价值。
