|此尊观音，胎质洁白细腻，通体施白釉，釉面晶莹剔透，光泽如镜，观音头束发髻，面目清秀，双目俯视，直鼻小口，形貌端庄慈祥，胸前饰有璎珞，身着广袖长衣，左手持经卷，右手置于膝上，左脚盘膝，右足袒露，衣饰线条流畅，虽为瓷相，却丝毫没有僵硬之感，不愧为一件精品之作。|德化窑位于今福建德化，故名。作为著名的汉族瓷窑，是福建沿海地区古外销瓷重要产地之一。其以白瓷塑佛像闻名，其制作细腻，雕刻精美，造型生动，体现了古代汉族劳动人民的卓越才能和和艺术创造力。中国德化白瓷享誉海内外，欧美等国家也是推崇备至，被推为中国白瓷的代表，称之为“中国白”。
