作者简介：吴谷祥(1848-1903)，清代画家。原名祥，字秋农，初字蓉甫，别号瓶山画隐，晚号秋圃老农，浙江嘉兴人。山水远宗文、沈，近法戴熙，亦善花卉、仕女，用笔苍劲，设色清丽。俞曲园评其画为"神品"。清末在上海鬻画，时画风习尚纵横草率，而其独能不落时尚。因当时吴石仙正以西法融云烟山水盛名沪上，而秋农画艺为其所掩，胡公寿颇为不平，说:"其人抑何聩聩，有目而不识秋农丹青之佳胜也。"
