沈鹏，1931年出生于江苏省江阴市，中国书法家、美术评论家、诗人、中国文学艺术界联合会第十届荣誉委员。历任中国书法家协会常务理事、副主席、代主席、主席、荣誉主席及艺术品中国荣誉艺术顾问，中国文联第六届副主席。 书法精行草，兼长隶、楷等多种书体。其中以行草最为人们喜爱，沈鹏的书法体现出明显的晋唐法度，但同时又打破了既有的法度，在更高的层面探索书写的自由。他把求“意”作为审美目标不断追求，就作品表现特征而言，他能以抽象的书法形式，表现出高远的精神境界和艺术功力，将它作为创作主体的精神追求和艺术功力物化为审美形态。
