A Meissen porcelain jug with woodcut style flowers The bird`s head spout issuing from a mascaron. The original lid with pine cone finial. Blue crossed swords mark. A small chip to the underside of the lid, a restored chip to the nose of the mascaron. H 16 cm. C. 1740. Provenance Kunstsalon Hannover. Private collection, Westphalia since 1972. Literature Cf. cat.
