喜马拉雅艺术资源网2440号此尊古老造像身着厚实的犍陀罗式袈裟，其图像学特征神秘而复杂。佛陀的顶髻、双肩与右手之上均有莲苞或火焰生出。若为火焰，则或许与佛陀在舍卫城施展奇迹之形象有关；若为花苞，则或许刻画了万古永世之前的燃灯佛。 丝绸之路沿途地区曾多处出土文物宝藏，比较本拍品之艺术风格，及其轻薄的铸造方式，不失一致之处。来源：Ed O'Neill私人珍藏，香港，自1990年前
