此碗以紫铜为胎，胎体较厚，入手分量适中。口沿外撇，弧壁渐收，下承圈足，内外皆施白釉，以画珐琅工艺装饰。碗内绘“瓜瓞绵绵”，花枝曲折蜿蜒，其上精绘盛开的梅花、牡丹等花卉，碗中心饰瓜藤，寓意子孙昌盛。外壁绘花鸟纹，喜鹊或翻飞于枝头，或停驻于山石，与周身花卉结合，动静相宜。
整体图案严谨工整，画工精致，繁缛华丽，构图疏朗，雍荣华贵，气度不凡。瓜藤繁茂，蝴蝶翩跹，姿态各异，珐琅釉色温润细腻而厚实，兼具金属的坚固性及玻璃的光泽感。碗的用料、工艺制作、图案等均反映了清代乾隆时期为铜胎画珐琅的繁盛时期。
