铭文：“伯□作宝尊簋”
炉作簋式，身形显高，椭圆撇口，颈部稍束，饰单弦纹，弧腹下收，底承外撇高圈足，饰以双弦。颈腹间双耳细韧，环扣有力，转折处铸以兽首。腹部两面素地上，以错金银工艺装饰硕大的兽面纹，双睛圆凸，双耳精巧，云状犄角，直鼻阔口，形象神秘威严而极富时代气息。
明代文人的审美观，可从当时的工艺美术品窥知一二；“纯朴率真，天然谢雕饰”与“精工绚丽，穷工殚巧”的风格兼容并蓄；同时须具备雅而有“士”气的风骨，才是明代文人追求的最高境界。如此件拍品，可见一斑。
