笔筒圆口，直壁，平底，通体罩施白釉，釉色白中闪青，以青花料绘就以“三顾茅庐”小说故事题材，画面人物集中于院中，刘备与诸葛亮互相躬身行礼，侍者迎宾，童子烹茶，武士执杖，背景辅以流云、山石、芭蕉、合欢，整个画面构面疏密得当，画法流畅，人物神态刻画生动传神，画工细致入微，明末清初，笔筒做为文房必备之清玩，为满足文人士大夫们的追求品位，大量烧制各种题材的笔筒，而尤以青花人物纹最具时代特色，此笔筒胎质坚密，釉色俱佳，时代气息浓厚，极有代表性。
