oblong and on four tapering-shaped feet, the hinged cover with central disc, opens to reveal a wood-lined interior 20cm wide Provenance: Tennants, 3 February 2018, lot 157. Fully marked on side and part marked on over. There is some wear to the marks, particularly on the cover where the marks are almost entirely illegible. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The disc has probably been erased. There is some staining to the wood lining. The gross weight including the wood is 36oz 11dwt, 1,137gr.
